Adrian James Loomis

Adrian James Loomis, affectionately known to his friends as “Jim”, 73, long-time resident of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025. Jim worked as a landscaping supervisor for many years at ProScapes in Jamesville. He enjoyed being outdoors and camping. Jim was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.

He was predeceased by his parents, Adrian Donald Loomis and Lucy May Cicali Loomis, and by a brother, Guy Peter Loomis.

Jim is survived by his chosen family, Ronald and Barbara Christ of Syracuse and their pets especially Seko and Smokey and close friends: Kevin Roach, James Carncross, Keith Alexander, Rick Krier, and Dave Paladino. He also leaves behind his children, Carolyn Loomis of North Carolina and Adrian James Loomis Jr. of Florida; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was loved by his family and will be missed by those who knew him.

Friends may call on Friday, June 20, from 12 - 1 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin at 1 pm followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
