Albert W. Martin

Albert “Puma” W. Martin, 58, of East Syracuse, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Van Duyn Center in Syracuse. Born in Newark, NJ, Albert attended Essex County College with the Class of 1983. He resided in East Syracuse for the past 18 years.

Alvert worked as a caddy for many years at the Canoebrook Country Club in Summit, NJ. He carried for many well known people inclusing Tiger Woods and several players from the NY Giants. He was an accomplished musician who payed guiter, keuboard, and the drums.

Surviving are his two children: Thane Dwight Martin and Yumeyer Martin as well as two step-children, Chancey and Margain, all of East Syracuse; his mother, Elizabeth Martin, with whom he resided; his father, Albert Martin of Richmond, VA; a brother, Lawrence Edwards of East Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
