Madeline "Midge" Angello

July 6, 1939 — November 4, 2021

Madeline "Midge" Angello, 82, longtime resident of Mattydale, passed away Thursday, November 4th at Elderwood at Liverpool. Midge was a native of Theresa, NY and was the daughter of the late Everett and Nellie (Hudson) McRobbie.

She retired in 1998 as the office manager for American Adjustors Company in East Syracuse. Prior to that, Midge worked at General Electric through Manpower and as an underwriter for Davis & Reder Insurance Agency in Syracuse. She coached girls’ softball and basketball at Riordan School and cheerleading with the Pop Warner football program. Midge volunteered for the Mattydale-Hinsdale Lions Club and the Chamber of Commerce.

She was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" L. Angello, Jr., in 2009, their daughter, Michelle "Shelly" Angello, in 1973 and by her sister, Margaret Giocondo.

Surviving are her daughter: Kristin Angello-Mayfield of Mattydale; a sister-in-law, Arlene Angello of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Contributions in Midge's memory may be made to the S. P. C. A., 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
