Arlene M. Tedesco, 94, of Kathan Road in Brewerton, passed away at Crouse hospital with her family by her side on Friday. Arlene was a native of Syracuse and resided in Brewerton since 1975. She was born to the late George and Marie (Nimmo) Place.

Arlene retired in 1982 from Agway Inc after 17 years as a secretary. Previously, she worked at Smith Corona and General Electric. Arlene was a member of the Central Square American Legion Auxiliary Post #915 and a former member of the Brewerton Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She attended Brewerton United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Robert Tedesco, in 2010, her daughter Roberta A. Swift in 2021, her step-son Frederick Tedesco, and her twin sister, Aileen Long in 2024.

Surviving are her children: John M. "Mike" (Tina) Morse of Central Square, Joann Reid of Germany; a step-son, Robert Tedesco, Jr. of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Contributions in Arlene’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 5015 Campuswood Dr., Ste 102, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 6 pm at Krueger Funeral home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services will follow at 6 pm. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
