Charles E. Bacon, 81, of Daytona Beach, Florida and formerly of North Syracuse, NY, recently passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 with his wife of 63 years, Barbara Lewis Bacon, at his side. Charles retired from Merchants Mutual Insurance; he was a Boy Scout leader and an Elk member. He loved NASCAR, crosswords, camping, and visits with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth (Nichols) and Glenn W. Bacon of Brookfield, NY and by his sister, Sharon M. Maine.
He is survived by his children: Kenneth and Diana Bacon and Debra Loiacono; four grandchildren: Kristopher Barbuto, Tiffani’Lyn Loiacono (Adam) Bowles, Theresa and Dominic Loiacono; and his great grandchildren: Riley and Jordan Barbuto, Ethan Bowles and Rocco Loiacono. He is also remembered by Toni’Lyn Brauchle and family as well as many nieces and nephews.
There are no public services at this time.
