Anthony P. "Tony" Banack

Anthony “Tony” P. Banack, 60, of Loma Ave in Syracuse, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in North Syracuse, Tony was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was a 1978 graduate of North Syracuse High School and worked as a paver for all his life. Most recently, he owned and operated Tony B's Paving for over 10 years before retiring in 2017.

Tony was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting deer. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and liked watching other sports as well as playing basketball.

He was predeceased by two sons, Joey and Dakota, and by his father, Anthony J. Banack.

Tony is survived by two children: Anthony Banack of Cicero and Melissa Banack of Central Square; his fiancée, Mary McGrail with whom he resided; his mother, Carol Montuori of Syracuse; three sisters: Michelle Welsh of Volney, Danielle Sanders of Syracuse, and Tammy Banack of Bridgeport; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
