Maureen A. Bauer (Miller)

October 3, 1951 — January 20, 2014

Maureen A. Bauer, 62, of Clay, died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Maureen resided in the Liverpool and Clay area for most of her life. She was a graduate of North Syracuse High, Class of 1969, and she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Anna May Miller.

Maureen retired in 2011 after working for many years as a retail buyer for several area retailers throughout NY. She was an avid Syracuse University sports fan and a member of the Orange Pack. Maureen held season tickets for both their basketball and football games for decades. She enjoyed traveling, especially for S.U. away games and to see the NY Giants. Maureen loved spending time with her many friends and family.

She is survived by her sister: Kathleen (Neil) Sabine of Richmond, IN; a nephew and two nieces: Matthew, Megan, and Emily Sabine all of Indianapolis, IN; and several close cousins and friends.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services are Saturday, 10:00 am at the funeral home, with burial following in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
