Sharon E. Belair (Koenecke)

March 4, 1947 — March 13, 2014

Sharon E. Belair, 67, of Kellar Rd. in Brewerton, died Thursday at Crouse Hospital. Sharon was the daughter of the late Andrew and Evelyn Koenecke. She grew up in North Syracuse and graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1965. She later moved to Cicero where she raised her family with her former husband Gordon Belair and resided there for 20 years before moving to Brewerton in 2000.
She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Independent Home Health Care in Syracuse for 20 years and was a communicant of St,. Rose of Lima church in North Syracuse. Sharon always lived life her way and loved caring for her family and spending time with her friends.
Surviving are her five children: Michelle (Steve) Endresz of Caughdenoy, Matthew (Heather) Belair of Pennellville, Stephanie (Jeff) Densmore of Sarasota FL, Brian J. (Ann) Belair of North Syracuse, Jennifer Belair with whom she resided along with her Grandson Donovan; eight grandchildren: Erin, Tyler, Andrew, Samuel, Owen, Roman, Brianna and Donovan.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Krueger Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Contributions may be made in Sharon's memory to the Make a Wish Foundation 5005 Campuswood Drive.
