Shirley M. (Dufresne) Bottino, 79, joined her beloved husband, Louis R. Bottino, and our Lord in Heaven on May 2, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born in Massena, NY, to the late Ed and Helen Dufresne and resided in the North Syracuse area all of her adult life. She loved life, her family and friends, dancing, bowling, playing cards, gardening, and puzzles. Shirley enjoyed being a homemaker and working part-time occasionally at the CNS school cafeterias, Palladine’s Grocery Store and Cicero Wegman's.
In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley is predeceased by her eight siblings and grandson-in-law, Kevin J. Reistrom.
She is survived by her children: Luann Sweet (Edwin) of Orlando, Louis E. Bottino (Tricia Case) of Liverpool, and Lori Ingalls (John) of Cicero; grandchildren: Jamie Ann Reistrom, Jacob Bottino, Nicholas Bottino, Sabrina Bottino, Lucas Mussi, Emilie Mussi, Alexandra Heinley, Steven Banuski, Marissa Ingalls, and Anthony Ingalls; brother-in-law, John Kuca of Massena; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Kruger Funeral Home, Mattydale. Prayer Services will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, 8:45 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 8229 Brewerton Road, Cicero, NY 13039. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
