Nona (Brennan) Thayer

Nona Brennan Thayer, 88, passed away on September 3, 2016 at her daughter Melanie's home in Baldwinsville, NY, after a long illness.
Nona worked at Agway in an accounting position for many years before retiring. She loved gardening and spending time with her two cats, Meika and Camie.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Deborah Acker.
Nona is survived by her two daughters: Melanie (Joseph) Montanaro of Baldwinsville and Maureen (Thomas) Durant of Portchester; her son: Charles Richard (Carol) Thayer of Solvay; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Per Nona's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nona's memory may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd. in Mattydale has care of the arrangements.
