Lillian M. Casler, 93, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, December 25th. Lillian grew up in Norfolk, NY and resided on the West side of Syracuse for many years before moving to Central Square to live with her son.
She worked in several locations in downtown Syracuse including the Hotel Syracuse, McCrorys and Grants Department Stores before raising her children. Lillian took joy in raising her family, cooking and reading.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Lloyd Casler, in 1997 and two sons, Larry in 1960 and Allen in 2000.
She is survived by her four children: Linda Wilbur or Syracuse, Wayne Smith of Central Square, Joanne McAlister of North Syracuse and Carol Clark of Syracuse; four siblings: Claudia, Maude, Shirley and Bill, all of St. Lawrence County; 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
There will be no public services at this time.
