Albert DeJohn III

July 24, 1939 — November 3, 2013

Albert C. DeJohn, III, 74, of North Syracuse, died Sunday morning at home. Albert grew up on the North side of Syracuse and attended North Syracuse Schools and Eastwood High. He was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Mulholland) DeJohn Jr.

Albert worked for Bristol Laboratories, Lampson Corp and several other companies in the Syracuse area lastly he worked for Ventre Packing and the Olive Garden. Albert enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren who meant the world to him.

Albert was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Myra, in 1992.

Albert is survived by their two children: Albert (Mary Beth) DeJohn IV of North Syracuse and Laurie (Brian) Garvin of Central Square; his grandchildren: , Jessica and Albert "A.J." DeJohn V and Danielle and Caitlin Garvin: three siblings: Robert DeJohn of Cicero, Linda DeLosh of Dewitt, and Brian DeJohn of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Albert's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital Memorials, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 1142, Memphis, TN, 38148.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin on Friday, 10 am at the funeral home followed by burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, North Manlius.
