Virginia DiRose

Virginia L. Mingolelli DiRose, 86, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She worked as a cook at St. Thomas Aquainis House in Syracuse for many years. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family, was a wonderful cook, and took great pride in making the "best" Italian cookies for all of us.
She was predeceased by: her first husband, Gerald Mingolelli; second husband, Rocco DiRose; her parents, Giuseppe and Clarice Giorgi; a sister, Pauline and granddaughter, Jeana Lynn.
Surviving are her three children: Jeanette Robert Mulpagano, Nicola Kathy Mingolelli, and Linda Robert Calabria; her 11 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two nieces.
Friends may call Friday from 10am-12pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with services following at noon. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. The family extends their sincere and heartfelt thanks to Virginia's "PACE" family, especially Robin Grant. "The only thing that gives me hope is that I'll see you again someday." Te Amo.
