June M. Domachowske

June M. Domachowske, 89, formerly of 413 Kirsch Drive in Mattydale, passed away Sunday, January 19 at Elderwood in Liverpool. June was a lifelong resident of Mattydale and she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Adams) Domachowske. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Geneseo.

June retired from the North Syracuse Central School District after many years as a Dental Hygienist. She was an avid traveler overseas visiting Ireland, Germany, Hawaii, Switzerland and St. Croix as well as many domestic trips including New England and Disney World. June enjoyed the theater, loved spending time with her family and playing cards and scrabble with her friends. She was a member of the Salina Civic Seniors and a communicant of St. Margaret's Church where she sang in the choir. She also served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and of their former Socialites. June had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Waterman and a brother, Joe Domachowske.

June is survived her brother: Robert (Theresa) Domachowski of Liverpool; a sister-in-law, Lenore Domachowske of Cleveland, and; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1 - 4 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayers will begin on Monday, 9:30 am at the funeral home with a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church following. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
