Donald E. VanNorstrand, Jr.

Donald E. VanNorstrand, Jr., 63, of Parish, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Born in Auburn to the late Elizabeth (Reil) and Donald E. VanNorstrand Sr., Don was raised in Port Byron. He resided in Mattydale for many years before moving to Parish in 2005.

Don worked as an over the road truck driver for 40+ years. He was mostly an independent contractor; however most recently he had been employed by Bolus Trucking. Don was an avid NASCAR fan who took pride in working on and restoring old cars. He also enjoyed gardening and nature.

Don is survived by his three sisters: Diane Weaver of Kansas City, Kansas, Carol Andersen of Laurel, Maryland, and Bonnie Barber of Everett, Washington; and by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. All services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
