Madeline Ennis

January 20, 1941 — June 27, 2010

Madeline Leonardo Ennis, 69, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from Syracuse Central High School in 1959. Madeline retired in 1988 after 18 years as a department manager at Mutual of New York. She owned and operated her own floral shop in Nottingham Plaza for many years and most recently worked as a floral designer at Rao's Florist in Mattydale.
Madeline loved life and was a loving wife to her husband of 37 years, John "Jack" Ennis. She was tirelessly dedicated to helping all of her extended family in any way that she could.
Madeline was predeceased by her 8 year old brother, Thomas, and by her sister, Roseanne Bouchard.
She is survived by her husband John Ennis; four step-children: Susan Ennis, Michael Ennis, David Sylvia Ennis, and Christopher Ennis; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her sister: Lucille John Collins; a brother: Michael Judy Leonardo; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 4-7 pm Wednesday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, 10 am with burial following in Assumption Cemetery.
