Eric Anderson

Eric “E-Star” Anderson, 52, lifelong resident of Syracuse, passed away Saturday, June 24th. He attended Nottingham High School where he played varsity football with the Bulldogs.

Eric worked at Syracuse Haulers for the past several years. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan and an amateur freestyle rapper who enjoyed many types of music.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother and love of his life, Dora Anderson.

Surviving are his five children: Sean, Kayvon, and Terrance Anderson, all of Syracuse and Emoni and Shy’mere Anderson, both of Rochester; his mother, Demetrice Fields, of Rochester; father, Lewis Singletary of Syracuse; several siblings; three grandchildren: Sean, Summer and Winter; his maternal grandfather, Isiah Anderson of Rochester; an uncle, Kevin (Pam) Anderson of Rochester; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call on Friday from 3:00 -5:00 pm, at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a 5:00 pm Funeral Service following.
