Floyd C. Robinson, Jr.

Floyd C. Robinson, Jr., 72, of Jamesville, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025. Born to the late Martha (House) and Floyd C. Robinson Sr., Floyd Jr was affectionately referred to as “Skip” by his family. He grew up in the Camillus and Warners area where he attended West Genesee High School with the class of 1971.

Skip joined the US Marine Corps where he served with the 2nd platoon of the 8th Tank Battalion for a time and earned a rifle sharpshooter badge. He worked in the Foundry at Crouse Hinds for many years before becoming a security guard for UPS in Syracuse. Skip was a longtime member of the American Legion and served with its color guard. He was also a member of the F&AM Masons and a Shriner. Skip enjoyed carpentry and creating projects with his hands. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and collector.

Skip was predeceased by his aunt, Faith House. He is survived by several brothers and sisters including Brenda and Nancy, and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
