Laurel (Galvin) Gendreau, age 93, passed away Saturday, January 30th, 2021. She is survived by her son, Bill (Laura Lee McIntyre) Manning of Springfield, OR; a daughter, Peggy (Ed) Vaughn of Liverpool; her 6 grandchildren: Cristina (Will) Braga, Eddie (Brittany) Vaughn, Julie (Patrick) Warner, Andrea Vaughn, Liam Manning and Ella Manning. She also had 5 great grandchildren.
Laurel was predeceased by two husbands, William Manning and Elmo Gendreau, by her parents, John and Gertha (Shetler) Galvin, and five siblings: John, Thomas, and Edward Galvin, Irene Hawes and Annie Aubertine.
Laurel was a feisty lady that loved to play high stakes bingo every chance she got. She enjoyed puzzles, detective shows and going out to eat.
She had decided to donate her body to science. There will be no services as she requested and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local nursing home or dementia research organization.
