Sharon A. Gerhardt

Sharon A. Gerhardt, 68, of Pegler Blvd. in Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, July 13th at University Hospital in Syracuse. Raised in Cicero, the daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Noyes) Gerhardt, Sharon was a 1971 graduate of Cicero High School. She resided in Syracuse and Jamesville before settling in Bridgeport in 2002.

Sharon worked at General Super Plating in East Syracuse for 27 years as a group leader until retiring. She was an avid bowler belonging to several leagues in the Syracuse area. Sharon was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ronald Poplawski of Cicero; two nieces, Jennifer and Heather; and great nieces and nephews, Morgan, Brady, and Carter.

Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer services will begin on Tuesday, 8:45 am, at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church. Private Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
