Edward W. Hanna, Jr., 60, of Syracuse, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Edward was raised in Cato and also resided in Phoenix for several years before moving to Syracuse.
He was a US Army veteran serving as a medic in Korea. Edward worked as a high lift operator for the past 12 years at Cavallaro Foods in Syracuse. He played football during high school and has followed his son's football endeavors through his high school and college career. Edward was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders.
He is survived by his children: Tyler Hanna of Syracuse, Mindy Logan, and Beth (Chris) Phillips, all of MS; step-children, Justin Brown of East Syracuse and Alexus Brown of Syracuse; and four grandchildren: Ashlynn, Mady, Ariyonna, and Jase.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 3-5 pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
