Audrey L. Herman

Audrey L. Herman, 84, of Mattydale, passed away Saturday, March 20th at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Audrey was a native of Fenner, grew up in Perryville, NY, and resided in Lyncourt before moving to Mattydale in 2000. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Sylvia "Nellie" Lamphear.

Audrey retired in 1999 after 26 years working at M-K Candle Company in Syracuse. She was the Past President of the LeMoyne American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #1277 and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #1832 in Mattydale. Audrey was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.

Audrey was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Dietz and a son, Kevin Herman.

She leaves behind her longtime companion, Thomas Kelly of Mattydale with whom she resided and his three children: Michael Kelly of Bridgeport, Jason Kelly of Mattydale, and Shawna Ospitale of Liverpool; her son, Joseph Herman, of Syracuse; a sister: Sandra Sautter of Canastota; three brothers: Harry Lamphear of Bridgeport, and Carl Lamphear, all of Syracuse, and Richard Lamphear of Bridgeport; 10 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandhcildren.

Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 -4:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a Funeral Service at 4:00 pm.
