Leona L. Hill (Bush)

Leona L Hill, 56, of Syracuse passed away May 4, 2015 at her home. Leona was born in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was raised between there and the Catskill mountains. She spent several years in California, before moving to Syracuse in 2007. She resided on the North Side of Syracuse. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Bush and Dorothy (Reynolds) Bush.

Leona attended Syracuse University in the early 80’s. She retired in 2014 after several years as a configurations manager specialist for Syrtech in North Syracuse.

Leona enjoyed traveling, reading, and bowling. She participated in leagues at Strike ‘n Spare lanes. She was also an avid NFL fan.

Leona is survived my her daughter Sarah (Tommy) Hill-LaFirst, with whom she resided.
