Susan M. Hopkins

Susan M. Hopkins, 50, of Wright Ave. Mattydale, went to be with her lord on Friday following a brief illness. She was a life resident of the Mattydale area. Susan was a wonderful Wife, Mother, and friend to many. She had a passion of caring for others.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years Terry, a daughter Nicole (Dan Bryant) Hopkins of North Syracuse , her parents Toni (Placito) and Don Davis of East Syracuse, Ralph (Pam) Placito of Cicero, a brother Anthony Placito of Manlius, a sister Jamie Cary of Liverpool, two brothers in-law, Larry (Lisa) Hopkins and David (Mary) Hopkins. She also leaves behind her long time best friend and companion Mary Jo "Emmi" Botindari of Syracuse, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 9 am at St. Daniel's church in Lyncourt, with burial following in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
