Esther N. (Rogers) Hutton, 90, resident of East Syracuse for over 60 years, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Iroquois Nursing Home. Esther was born and raised in South Onondaga and was the last surviving daughter born to the late Bennie and Ruth (Fenner) Rogers.
Esther retired in 1990 after 20 years as a cafeteria worker at the East Syracuse Minoa School District. Prior to that, she worked for 15 years in the accounts payable department at Will & Baumer Candle Company in Syracuse. Esther was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Oneida Lake Region Antique Car Club, the Mohican Model A Ford Club of America and CNY Street Rods. She also belonged to the South Onondaga Grange and was a life member of the Marcellus Order of the Eastern Star. Esther was a former Girl Scouts Leader and a member of the 4-H Club, both in the East Syracuse area.
Esther was predeceased by her husband, Norman E. Hutton, in 2003 and by her sisters, Elizabeth Thompson, Edith Rogers, and Irene Rogers.
Surviving are her daughter, Natalie Kennel of San Diego, CA; and a son, Norman J. Hutton of Franklin Lakes, NJ.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services are Wednesday, 10:00 am, at the funeral home with burial following in South Onondaga Cemetery.
