Amy J. Indick, 65, of Central Square, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Syracuse, Amy was the daughter of the late Helen (Hovanec) and Richard W. Johnson, Sr. She attended Corcoran High School with the class of 1974 and attended O.C.C. for respiratory therapy.
Amy retired in 2008 after several years as a customer service representative for the Sutherland Group and Deluxe. Previously, she worked at Syracuse China in Syracuse. Amy’s main focus in life was her involvement with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed frequenting the casino and embraced her Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, Amy was predeceased by a brother, Richard W. Johnson, Jr.
Amy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert J. Indick; six children: Charlene (Scott) Bozzi of Syracuse, Tammie (Jeff) Miller of Syracuse, Jason Herzog of Central Square, Jennifer Indick of Camillus, Robert Indick of Camillus, and Brian Indick of Syracuse; a sister, Mary Hovanec of MA; grandmother of 7: Brekken Bozzi, Maxwell Smith, Keegan Bozzi, Juliana Herzog, Raeann Indick, Eric Horning, and Bobby Indick; and by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call Saturday from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a Service following at 5:00 PM. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
