Lilahmae (Jabaut) Cook
August 13, 1924 — June 4, 2016
Lilahmae Cook, 91, long time resident of Boston Road in Mattydale, died Saturday at James Square. Lilahmae was born in Saranac Lake, NY, and resided in Mattydale since 1952. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Yell) Jabaut.
Lilahmae was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Andrew E. "Cookie" Cook, in 1995.
She leaves behind her son, Leslie H. Cook and her two daughters: Wendy A. Cook and Marsha M. Cook, all of Mattydale; one sister: Connie Smith of NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be made in Lilahmae's memory to the Malden Road United Church of Christ, 108 Malden Rd. Mattydale, NY 13211.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
