Jacqulyn A. Waldon

Jacqulyn A. Waldon, 51, of Mattydale, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Crouse Hospital. Born and raised on the West side of Syracuse, Jackie attended Fowler High School with the Class of 1989. She resided in Mattydale since 2007.

Jackie was employed as a school bus driver for TNT Transportation and Jordan-Elbridge Central School District from 1999-2007. She also worked for Enable as a Home Health Aide for many years. Jackie was a member of the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and volunteered as an advocate for autistic children. She enjoyed crafting, especially creating Christmas wreaths and scrapbooking.

She was predeceased by her father, Richard Waldon, and by a brother, William Waldon in 2022.

Jacqulyn is survived by a daughter, Tysheria (Issaiah) Thomas of Mattydale; two granddaughters, Arkaya and Lynnaya Vergara; her mother, Linda Waldon, of Jordan; a sister, Sandra (Chuck) Smith of Mattydale and her brother, John (Danielle) Waldon of Jordan; and by several nieces and nephews.
