Jane M. Barnholdt

Jane M. Barnholdt, 67, longtime resident of Cicero, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024. Jane was born to the late John and Dorothy Zopfi and grew up in the East Syracuse-Minoa area. She was a 1975 graduate of ESM High School. 

Jane worked as a bookkeeper for over 35 years at local businesses including DeSantis TV and Appliance, Salt City TV & Electronics, and Krueger Funeral Home. She was a member of the South Shore Gun Club and had a passion for cooking for others. Jane loved to host parties at her home on Oneida Lake.

She was predeceased by her first husband, John Barnholdt, in 1988 and by her second husband Edward Mumford, in 2014.

Surviving is her daughter, Ashlee (Michael) Swanson and grandson, Connor, all of Cicero; three siblings: Linda Pfieffer of Rochester, Jack (June) Zopfi of Sylvan Beach, and Judy (Bill) Way of Dewitt; and many other close friends and family including Vincent DeSantis, Jacob and Rachel LeBeau; and her beloved cat Maggie Mae.

Friends may call on Monday, December 16th, from 4:00 -6:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a 6:00 pm Funeral Service following.
