Jean Marie Wisinski

Jean Marie Wisinski, 96, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully on January 11^th, 2023, after a long illness. Jean was born to the late Edward and Marie Wilson on October 30, 1926, in Lake Placid, NY, and resided with her grandparents, Emma and Richard Tyrell, who were part of the Lake Placid, NY, Tyrell extended family. While still a young girl, Jean and her family resettled in Mattydale, NY.

She married the late Henry Wisinski in May 1949, and they lived together in Mattydale before relocating to Cicero, NY in 1963. Over time, Jean and Henry began to winter in Hollywood, Florida and did so for many years.

Jean is survived by four children: Gary Wisinski, of Scottsdale, AZ; Mark Wisinski, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Karen (Wisinski) Hylan of Sudbury, MA; and Cory Wisinski, of Bernhards Bay, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Jean was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to garden, read, spend time on the beach, take care of her home, and stay active. In the early years of her marriage, Jean was a member of the local bowling league and opened her home to countless cub scout meetings and pool parties. Jean traveled often with Henry and continued to travel with friends and family after his passing in 1986. Jean was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
