Jeanne C. Fenner

Jeanne C. Fenner, 89, of Clay, passed away Sunday, March 12^th at Loretto Nursing Home. Born in Ithaca, NY, Jeanne was the daughter of the late Wesley and Blanche (Coleman) Knowlton and a 1951 graduate of Ithaca High School.

She retired in 1998 after working as a secretary for more than 30 years at Tomkins County Dept. of Social Services and Cornell University. Jeanne was an avid music lover who enjoyed playing piano and violin.

She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Fenner in 2014 and by a son, Brian Fenner in 2005.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Robert C. (Regina) Fenner of Liverpool; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Fenner Knapp; five grandchildren: Michael, Victoria, Emily, Jason (Lyra), and Aaron (Kate); four great grandchildren; and several cousins.
