Kathleen LaBar
December 24, 1955 — August 2, 2023
Mattydale
Kathleen LaBar, 67, passed away Wednesday, August 2nd at Francis House in Syracuse. A lifelong resident of Mattydale, she was a 1973 graduate of North Syracuse High School.
Kathy worked for 5 years at Syroco and R.E. Deitz Co. before later working for 15 years at Raymond Corp. She enjoyed gardening, listening to rock music and took immense pleasure in her cats: Patches, Furball, Chester and Clyde. Kathy was a kind, loving soul, a wonderful mother, and friend to all.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Rose (Scigliuto) La Bar.
She is survived by her lifelong companion of 45 years, Matthew Beechner; their son, Shawn Beechner; and a niece, Jennifer Schnobrich.
