Keith R. Gilmer, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 65. Born in Syracuse, New York, Keith was a well-liked and respected member of his community. He honorably served in both the US Army Reserves and then the U.S. Air Force, exemplifying his commitment to service. He was a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant at Crouse Hospital, where he worked for 35 years and was well known and admired by his peers.

A devoted member of Cornerstone Community Church in Mattydale, Keith was also an enthusiastic participant in the Gem & Mineral Society of Syracuse, reflecting his diverse interests and community involvement.

Keith is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Jean Gilmer, and two infant siblings, Douglas and Pamela.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Dorothy H. Gilmer; his two daughters, Kaitilin L. (Charles Lee) Gilmer and Janelle M. (Jimmy Maret) Gilmer; and his two grandchildren, Mark Cerul and Zoe Lee. He also leaves behind his cousin, Laurie Rosato, who was more like a sister to him.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 11, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale with a 4:00 pm Funeral Service following.
