James Klachaney

James M. Klachaney, 65, died Friday at his home in Camillus. Jim was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was the son of the late Micheal and Nora (Donovan) Klachaney.
He retired in 2011 after many years as a laborer at the CNYDSO Gateway workshop and later participated in the W. Genesee Day Hab program.
Jim was also predeceased by his brother Timothy in 1989. Surviving are his sister Arlene (Raymond) Obit of Mattydale, five nieces and nephews Kelly (Christopher) Besaw, Kevin (Melissa) Obit, Christopher Obit, Ryan (Sara) Obit, Sean (Heidi Jones) and a great nephew Jacob Besaw.
Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to the CNYDSO 187 Northern Concourse, N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
Friends may call on Monday from 11-1 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
