Karleen Kruger

Karleen F. Anderson Kruger, 67, passed away Thursday at Crouse Hospital. Karleen grew up in the Pitcher Hill area and was a lifetime resident of North Syracuse. She was the daughter of the late Carl O. and Evelyn L. Schlie Anderson.
Karleen retired in 1998 after 20 years as a claims analyst for Kemper Insurance in Dewitt. Prior to that, she worked as a manager at Ormond?s Department Store in Northern Lights and also at Carnation Enterprises. She was a past member of the former Daughters of America Club.
She leaves behind her three children: Carl Katie of Baldwinsville, Greg Deborah of North Syracuse and Laurie Steve Burns of Clay; a sister: Laureen Thomas Goettel of Cicero; and her eleven grandchildren.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1-4 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin at 10 am Monday at the funeral home followed by burial in North Syracuse Cemetery. Contributions in Karleen?s memory may be made to the SPCA, 5878 E.
