Carol Lorini

Carol A. Lorini, 69, longtime resident of Mattydale, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a native of Mattydale and resided there for most of her life, most recently on Garden City Drive. She was the only child born to the late Frederick R. and Anna Furgal Butler.
Carol was a graduate of the Franciscan Academy in Syracuse. She retired in 2004 after 25 years as a call taker for AAA in Syracuse and was a former Girl Scout Troop Leader. Carol was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church and a former member of their Altar Rosary Society.
She leaved behind her husband of 40 years, Joseph Lorini and several uncles and cousins.
Friends may call from 4-7 pm Monday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. A prayer service will begin Tuesday, 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Margaret's Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt.
