Loretta Lynch

Loretta M. McMahon Lynch, 94, formerly of 406 Bailey Road in North Syracuse, died Wednesday. She was a native of the Binghamton area and was the daughter of the late Timothy and Delia McMahon. Loretta resided in Pitcher Hill for 55 years prior to moving to Loretto Cunningham in 2007.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the O. M. Edwards Company in Syracuse as well as for the N.Y.S. Electric and Gas Company and Bresee Chevrolet. Loretta was a member of the Salina Civic Senior Citizens Group and a communicant of St. Margaret's Church.
Loretta was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, John Lynch in 1990; her sister, Marjorie Clifford and her brother, Francis McMahon.
Surviving are several cousins; and her special friends: Lois Phil Benevento, Sara Narehood, and Helen Dudek, all of Pitcher Hill.
Friends may call Monday from 10-10:30am at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer service will begin at 10:30am followed by an 11am Mass of Christian burial at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Contributions may be made to either Mattydale Volunteer Fire Dept. Inc., 173 Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211 or to NAVAC, PO Box 215, N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
