Margaret P. Ranz

Margaret P. Ranz, 97, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, April 3^rd at Francis House. Raised on the West side of Syracuse, Margaret was a graduate of Blodgett High School and resided in Mattydale for 30 years before moving to Liverpool in the 1980’s. She loved to travel both domestically and abroad, especially on her cruising adventures. Margaret was a doting mother and grandmother and a parishioner of Christ the King Church in Liverpool.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Walter Ranz in 2008 and by her parents, John and Suzanne Pyatak.

Margaret is survived by her three sons: James (Marlene Gillan) Ranz of Syracuse, Christopher Ranz of Syracuse, and Michael Ranz of Virginia; her favorite daughter-in-law, Lauri Ranz; grandmother to Kelly Ranz Compton and Connie Ranz Willis; and great grandmother to Kallum Scott Willis and Barron Ranz Compton.
