Charles McConnell

Charles "Chuck" F. McConnell, 59, lifelong resident of Mattydale, died Tuesday, September 4. Born in Syracuse to the late Edward and Idabell (Appleby) McConnell, Chuck attended North Syracuse High School with the Class of 1977. He was a steel worker for various construction companies including Jim Dennis and Kevin Buckley Construction. Chuck was an avid NY Giants fan who enjoyed life and spending time with his friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jim McConnell.
Surviving are his companion of 19 years, JoAnn McLuckie and her sons, Mark and Jared; siblings: Dorinne (Carder) Hicks of Mattydale and Edward (Kathy) McConnell of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, Mattydale.
