Michael J. McLaren

Michael J. McLaren, 70, of Mallory, passed away July 17, 2025. Mike was the son of the late Jesse and Joan McLaren and attended North Syracuse High School with the class of 1977. He worked as a cab driver for over 40 years, most recently at M.J. Taxi.

Mike loved remote-controlled planes and cars. He enjoyed nature, camping and time spent riding his motorcycle. He always made time for his family and was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, son and spouse.

Mike was predeceased by his siblings: Thomas, Patty and Suzie. He is survived by his life partner of over 47 years, Karen Latocha; their children: Joseph (Tressa) Capparelli of Williamstown, Charlene (Gregory) Latocha of Constantia, Jody Quinn-Reynolds of Jordan, and Michael J. Latocha of West Monroe; a sister, Linda Fedele of Cicero; his six grandchildren: Joseph, Michael, Miranda, Edwin, Chelsey, and Tyler; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in September at a time TBA.
