Norma Miesch

Norma C. Miesch, 72, of Mattydale, died Saturday, January 6th at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Norma grew up in Cornwall Ontario.

She worked during the 1960's at Meier & Ranz Company in Syracuse where she met her future husband. Norma enjoyed crafting, sewing, and time spent family and friends. She loved keeping up with everyone on social media. She was one of the most loving and caring people ever born! Norma was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church.

She was predeceased by her mother, Lillian.

Norma is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joseph Miesch; their son: Francis A. (Wendy) Miesch of Mattydale; her father, Alcide "Sid" Taillon of Mattydale; four sisters: Elaine (Raymond) LaPerle of Cornwall, Marguerite (Bob) Parks of Mattydale, Lorraine (Buddy) Fuller of Phoenix, and Jeannine Clary of East Syracuse; a brother-in-law, Larry (Loretta) Larrabee of Elbridge; her three grandsons, Joseph, Garrett, and Cody; two great granddaughters, Mackenzie and Isabella; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer Services will begin on Friday, 9:30 am, at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
