Daniel B. Neave

June 13, 1953 — February 25, 2016

Daniel "Painter" B. Neave, 62, formerly of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, Dan resided in many areas of the country with his father's career. He resided in Liverpool for many years before moving to Cicero last year. He was the son of the late Richard B. and Betty Mae (Jensen) Neave.

Dan was the president of Neave Painting Corp. in East Syracuse since 1985. Prior to that, he was a partner at Power Painting of Liverpool. Dan was a member of the Builders and Contractors of CNY. He loved to read, enjoyed golfing, and was an avid photographer. Dan enjoyed summering at his family camp in Chaumont Bay, NY.

Dan is survived by his wife, the former April (Wademan) Dennee; their six children: Casandra (Brian) Ross of Liverpool, Matthew (Melinda) Neave of Lee Center, Nicholle (Dale Coville) Neave of Cortland, Brian (Jolene) Neave of Syracuse, Jesse (Kayleigh) Dennee of Camillus, and Gerald Dennee of Cape Canaveral, FL; a brother: Daryl Neave of Syracuse; his 12 great grandchildren: Landon, Juliana, Gavin, Kameron, Karson, Maddison, Marissa, Maddox, Clayton, Audriana, Anthony, and Caden and was expecting another grandson in March.

Contributions in Daniel's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Syracuse Chapter 8 -DAV, 416 Lodi St., Syracuse, NY 13203 or a local charity of your choice.

Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a funeral service following at 7 pm.
