Patrick J. Quinn

Patrick J. Quinn, 82, of North Syracuse, passed away Monday, August 21^st, 2023, at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero. Born to the late Joseph and Nellie (Podsiedlik) Quinn in Syracuse, Pat grew up in Mattydale and was a 1958 graduate of North Syracuse High School.

He retired in 2003 after many years as a salesman for Ontario Metals. He was a former member of the Nedrow Volunteer Fire Department, was involved in the Cub Scouts and was a Webelo leader in the Pitcher Hill community. Pat was an avid fisherman, enjoyed bowling and was on several leagues, and was a member of Pasttime Athletic Club. He enjoyed traveling on cruises with his late wife and was a die-hard Syracuse University, NY Giants, and NY Yankees fan.

Pat was predeceased by his high school sweetheart and wife of 60 years, Pauline, in 2022 and by his two brothers, Michael and Richard Quinn.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Timothy (Lucy) Quinn of Lancaster, PA and Christopher (Becky) Quinn of North Syracuse; five grandchildren: Brittney Trumble, Travis, Joseph, Ethan, and Avery Quinn; two great-grandchildren, June Trumble and Cooper Quinn; a sister, Cheryl LeBlanc of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
