Richard S. Emil

Mattydale
Richard S. Emil, 91, longtime resident of Mattydale, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025. Born in North Dakota to the late Stephen and Lydia Emil, Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a retiree of Lockheed Martin in Syracuse. He attended The Gathering Place in North Syracuse.
He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, the former Ruth (Bowman) in 2011 and his siblings, Beverly Emil, Louise Gowell, and Charles Emil.
Surviving is his son, Raun Emil of Cassville, NY; a brother, Russell (Lorraine) Emil of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held in North Syracuse Cemetery on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
