Marcia Rioux

Marcia A. Milliman Rioux, 49, of State Route 177 in Barnes Corners, died Friday at her home. Marcia was a native of Syracuse and grew up on the South side of the city before moving to Barnes Corners in 1996. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Barbara Milliman.
Marcia was a graduate of Corcoran High School and had worked as a clerk for Agway Gas and Suburban Propane. Prior to that, she worked for several nursing homes as a nurse's aid for many years. Marcia was preeceased by her sister Michele Daley in 1993 and is survived by her husband of 25 years, David Rioux; a daughter: Danielle Scott Drahzal of Huntersville, NC; her two sons: Robert Barney of Barnes Corners, and Richard Jessica Barney currently stationed in Germany; two sisters: Mary Parry and Melody Burgess, both of Lyncourt; two brothers: Michael "Kevin" Milliman of Syracuse, and Marc Milliman of Little Falls, NY; and her four grandchildren: McKenna, Garrett, Joey and Rioux.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Funeral services will begin following calling hours at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marcia's memory may be made to Lewis County Hospice, PO Box 266, Lowville NY 13367.
