Robert F. Sutkus

Robert F. Sutkus, 76, of Gordon Ave in Mattydale, passed away Friday, July 7^th at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse. A native of Syracuse, Bob resided in Mattydale since 1973 and was the son of the late John and Veronica J. (Kondrat) Sutkus.

He was a 1964 graduate of West Hill High School. Bob was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Airforce. He retired in 2001 after 31 years as a pressman for Syracuse Litho. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post #1832 and the VFW Post #3146 both in Mattydale. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing especially for Salmon.

Bob is survived his wife of 56 years, the former Barbara (Woytowich); and their daughter, Lisa Anne Sutkus of Mattydale; and three grandsons: John, Joshua, and Jarrod.
