Lucy E. Roth (Kimpel)

Lucy E. Roth, 76, of Syracuse, died Monday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Lucy was raised in Canastota and resided most of her life on the North side of Syracuse. She was the daughter of the late George and Grace Kimpel.

Lucy was formerly employed at Carhart Photos, K-Mart in Mattydale, and McCrory's Department Store in Syracuse.

Lucy was predeceased by her granddaughter, Dixie Marie Gloska, and by six siblings: Alvin, Alan, Ernest, Frederick, Ruth, and Beverly.

Lucy is survived by two daughters: Melody (Patrick) Gloska of Lindley, NY, and Dawn Kimpel of Syracuse; six grandchildren: Mark and Michael Gloska, Miranda and Julien Ryan, Sonja and Isadora Laframboise; her three great grandchildren: Julieana, Mary May, and Damien Gloska; as well as three brothers, Samuel Kimpel of Waterloo, Richard Kimpel of North Syracuse, and Howard Kimpel of OK.

Friends may call on Friday from 11 am-1 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Funeral Service will begin at 1 pm followed by burial in Loomis Hill Cemetery, Syracuse.
