Theresa Seaver

May 16, 1962 — March 19, 2009

Theresa "T" D. Allen Seaver, 46, of Boulevard Street in Mattydale, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Theresa was a native and life resident of Mattydale. She was the daughter of Dorcas "Dot" Allen and the late John J. Allen Sr.
Theresa was a 1979 graduate of North Syracuse High and employed by P.C.I. Inc., East Syracuse as a machine operator for 8 years. Prior to that, she worked at Seaboard Atlantic in East Syracuse. Theresa was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Mattydale American Legion Post #1832 in Mattydale and served in several capacities on their executive board. She was also a member of their ladies horseshoe club and played for many years in the City Parks & Recreation softball league for Jreck Subs. Theresa was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church.
She was predeceased by her father, John "Jack" Allen Sr. in 2006, her brother, Raymond Allen in 1986, granddaughter, Rosalia S. Gorecki in 2004, her brother-in-law, Jerry St. Hilaire and sister-in-law, Carol Allen, both in 2007.
Surviving are her son: Michael J. Seaver, II of Syracuse; her mother: Dorcas "Dot" Allen of Mattydale; her four sisters: Karen St. Hilaire of Mattydale, Regina Michael Traino of North Syracuse, Lisa Allen of Syracuse, and Melissa Sean Severance of Central Square; two brothers: John Allen Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, and Kevin Kim Allen of Syracuse; her two granddaughters: Autumn Burton and Rayanna S. Gorecki-Seaver; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Prayer will be held at the funeral home Monday morning; 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret's Church at 10am. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Contributions may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital, c/o Corporate Development, 750 East Adams St. CAB310, Syracuse NY 13210.
