Shirley J. Ceci

Shirley J. Ceci, 73, of Dewitt, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Shirley was the one of six children born to the late James and Ruth McGee. She worked for herself while living in California doing embroidery at Chula Vista.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by a brother, Kurt McGee.

She is survived by her two sons, Shad (Mandy) Ceci of Utah and Shaun Ceci with whom she resided; three grandchildren: Alyssa, Garron (Ashley), and Dixon; three great grandchildren: Olivia, Marley, and Aaron; her four sisters: Merlene Dulong, Doris Singer, Kay Zaccaglini, all of California, and Joyce Sem of Montana; and by several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in her memory may be made to any animal shelter of your choice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
