Shirley Slininger

Shirley C. Slininger, 81, of North Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at Malta House. Shirley resided in the Syracuse area for most of her life before moving to Malta House in 2001. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara Schultz Broga.
Shirley was worked at University Hospital as a Head Nurse for many years before retiring.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Larry Slininger, and by her siblings, Dorothy Thompson, Arthur Broga Jr., and Florence Adams.
She leaves behind a son: Jay Adams; her brother: Edward Broga of Mattydale; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At Shirley's request there will be no calling hours. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, 10 am in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
